They also have internet scan and Change of address monitoring. They will also help customers fill out police reports, cancel credit cards, set up fraud alerts and credit freezes if fraudulent information is detected on their credit scores. ProtectMyID also offers an extensive online FAQ section on their website as well as telephone, email and snail mail customer support.
Summary: Although ProtectMyID’s service features are not as extensive as other companies’ services, what they do offer is reliable, economical protection against identity theft. Experian is also a large company, and has an excellent reputation. Potential customers should keep in mind, however, that Experian does offer a product that includes all three credit scores and scores. If individuals prefer a better established, more comprehensive identity theft company, then they should look elsewhere.
